There could be two reasons regarding your concern: we are not familiar with the particular infill you have used, however, the mesh of the infill might be a bit too big, we typically recommend to use #16 or #20 mesh infills. Artificial grass has to be installed on a solid and smooth base: the turf is as good as the base. We always recommend to have about 4” of base build for artificial grass installations of which 2-1/2” of road base and 1-1/2” of decomposed granite.
