There are several ways of making artificial grass products, the most popular methods is “tufting” and most of our turf products are tufted. We also use “knitted” technology to make turf products and such method provide a fully permeated backing and hence named “flo-rite-through”. However, due to the high cost of such production and size limitations, we have not been actively prosecuting knitted products in recent years. All our our tufted turf products have great drainage capacities, on average, our artificial grass product can drain 50-100 inches per hour which can handle more than 5 times of the downpour from a category 5 hurricane. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions, by phone/ 877 796 8873 or by email: [email protected], thank you.

Our Shockpads products to be used with artificial grass installations are made of PE (Polyethylene) and POE (

Polyethylene based Polyolefin Elastomers), therefore, it can be recycled. The shockpads are manufactured through a “foaming” process, with rubbery/foam feel provide excellent cushioning for turf installations. Artificial grass was first installed over 40 years ago and is still going strong.  I don't see any reason why Artificial Turf won't be here in the future.  As one of the most popular landscaping alternatives, Artificial Turf saves billions of gallons of water per year.  One of the great things about Artificial Turf is that it is modular.  What I mean is you can pull the turf up, remove it and reinstall it many times over.  I have seen customers move and take their turf with them and install it in their new home.

Artificial Turf has a 15 year warranty and a 20-25 year life expectancy and I see no fear of you having to remove your turf down the road.  As always we appreciate your questions, let us know if we can help in any other way.

There are two major advantages of using artificial grass for sport applications:

1. Considerably lower cost of maintenance cost: all artificial grass sport fields will need regular maintenance such as infilling and brushing and cleaning. However such maintenance cost less than 1/4 of the cost of maintaining a real grass field, not to include the cost of watering the real grass sport fields. Maintenance on artificial grass sport field is a routine and easy process requires minimum skills.

2. Artificial grass is the only choice for any indoor sport field applications. It is just not possible for have real grass sport fields indoors. Astrodome was the very first place in where artificial grass was invented for that particular reason. When the dome was built, real grass was installed inside, but it become impossible to keep the real grass alive and get maintained.

Initial upfront cost for artificial grass sport applications might be higher but it can save a great deal amount of money in the long run.

Yes, you can be guaranteed with warranty and that the artificial grass you're buying is the legit one.
Buying artificial grass at an authorized dealer makes me assured of a high level of honesty and reliability.
It's better to buy in an authorized dealer so you can be sure that the artificial grass is not "fake", and you might want to cover it with warranty.

Dtex stands for Decitex, a term in textile industry for measuring yarns, the unit measures how many grams per 10000 meters, so it refers to mass or weight of the grass yarn. If all grass fibers are visually similar in size, the higher of the DTex number of a grass yarn, the heavier and densier it is. For an example, if the Dtex for a grass is 8000, it means the weight of a single piece of yarn at a length of 10000 meters weighs 8000 grams.

I've read about this, It says involves the weight, or thickness, of the yarn used to develop artificial grass.
Great piece of info, thank you!
I don't know what that means until now.
