Artificial grass is made of plastic, which is not something animals or pests would enjoy. So the answer is no. I haven't experienced any cases of our artificial grass being eaten by rabbit or any other animals.

my rabbits keep eating the fake grass I don't know what to do
I don't think so.
I think animals would only play it but not digest.

The cigarette will melt the grass fiber, but the grass won't catch on fire. Keep in mind that a lit cigarette can be as hot as more than 1100 degrees F, it will melt or burn anything! So you will need to be careful not to throw lit cigarette onto artificial grass, even though most of the time people don't even notice the melt if not to look closely.

Burning cigarettes can leave burning marks on the turf, but will not spread or become a fire.
I see, that makes sense. Good thing the burn will only cause a hole, not a fire.

This is a very interesting question, to be honest, we haven't heard or seen any cases or incidents regarding scorpions with artificial grass. We make our artificial grass products using PE and PP which are essentially plastics. I can't image that scorpions will find its comfort to associate with turf.

I have never seen any scorpions on my turf until now
I hate scorpions!
Good thing it doesn't live there. Not safe if it is!
Interesting!
This is by far the best question and answer for me. I hate scorpions!

We offer special glues just for artificial grass, such glues are available in different packages. If you have a small job, you can get a tube, using any generic tube dispensing gun to apply on the seaming tape. If you have more than 20 liner feet to glue, you can get a bucket of one gallon glue and using 1/4' trowel to apply the glue. Some bigger projects you will need to get 5 gallon glues. I'd consider using this glue for my turf rather than the nails.
Thanks for the links. Very helpful.
I'll definitely buy one of these two once I get mine installed. Thanks for these awesome recommendations

I am not sure exactly what you meant by “stay down”, but I will answer your questions from two perspectives and hopefully will address your concerns.

A. How to keep the grass stay down without feeling of warbling and floating as a thin sheet of carpet? This will have a lot to do with the installations. At the installation, to better keep the artificial grass down, you need to following our suggested instructions by using the nails along the edges of the grass and add averaged 2 lbs of infills onto the artificial lawn. By doing so, the feel of your artificial grass will be solid and stay down firmly. Also, your seams and edges will be less likely separated due to the turf expansions and contractions. Here are some links to further elaborate my points including nails, infills and installation guidelines:

B. Why artificial grass blades stay down and hard to get them back up? This is a usage related issue. All artificial grass made from PE and PP materials which have “memories”. When heavy traffics and usages happens to the artificial lawn which make the grass blades laying down, if such activities being constant, the grass will try to “remember” that to stay down, once such memories formed in the artificial grass blades, it will be difficult to get the grass fibers back to stand up. The point now is that if the grass lawn to be with heavy traffic and uses consistently, it might not be necessary to bring the fibers up standing, it is not hurt anything to let the grass stay laying down. It is the basic law of physics, when heavy and consistent forces given to anything, the forms will change given time. I kept mentioning “heavy and consistent activities” here as such will form the new memories for the grass fibers, don’t forget that the grass has been manufactured with the original memories: so under regular or minor usage, the grass might not have the opportunity to form. All our artificial grass products are designed and manufactured with superb resiliences and the fibers will be standing up for the longest possible time given regular traffic and usage, most of our grass installations look absolutely gorgeous after many years.

very informative. Thanks
Make a lot of sense.

Artificial grass market in Texas is several years behind the west coast and eastern states like Florida. However, it has been growing rapidly in recent years. The fastest-growing market is the Dallas/Fort Worth area where Global Syn-Turf has a distribution center. Most of the key general benefits of artificial grass apply to Texas:

1. Low maintenance, no more mowing, fertilizers, chemicals, landscapers: given the larger than national average yard sizes, such benefit can be very a great deal for Texans.

2. Some parts of Texas have real winters: it can get really cold to prevent real grass growing, brown-colored lawns are what we have in Texas during wintertime. Artificial grass will be green all year long which to enhances the appearances of properties and communities. Even in other seasons when it gets really wet, the turf will hold up much better and readily available for use right after rains or storms.

3. Your pets will love it: regardless of the seasons, artificial turf is always ready for your pets, real grass just can't offer that functionality all year long to your pet.

4. There are no other good options for private golf putting greens in your own yard than having artificial turf and you can play and practice on it any time you like.

5. Without pesticides, chemicals and lawnmower noise/emissions, we protect our soil and air. Never need to worry about our soil to be contaminated by treating real grass. Study shows that the lawnmower emissions surpass car's emissions, by cutting back lawn mower usage, we can have better and fresh air back!

There are more benefits than I can list here, and please always feel free to reach out to us directly and we will be happy to answer all your questions.
