I had Global Syn Turf grass installed at my house for about 3 months now.  They local dealer/distributor/installer here in Dallas was amazing and my goes off for them and their hard work.  There is a lot to think about before getting artificial turf and you need to consider before purchasing turf. The first thing to consider is the cost of artificial turf.  I am not going to kid you artificial turf can be expensive.  You need to shop around and do it right to make sure you are getting the right price.  Artificial turf will pay for itself every single time usually in about 3-5 years.  There is also financing out there to help with the cost.  Artificial turf is not No Maintenance, because there is some maintenance you need to do.  Don't think you never have to do anything to your turf.  If you have dogs you have to pick up after them and if you get leaves you have to blow or rake them off.   Some energy efficient windows have a glare from the sun that can and has melted artificial turf especially if the windows are south facing.  So consider this before you get artificial turf.  Next, there are seams in turf and sometimes they can be visible, especially in the sunlight.  Even with the best artificial turf installer in the business seams can be visible.  Other than that turf can be a great thing.  Very low maintenance, great for kids, great for dogs, pays for itself every single time and brings value to your home.  Thanks to Global Syn Turf in helping me make my yard great again.
