We don’t offer any of the bulk products that used for artificial grass sub base. People normally get such bulk products from local landscape products suppliers. As far as I know that some installers use the top soil for the top layer of the turf sub base buildup which goes underneath the turf. The typical sub base installation has two layers: drain rock and decomposed granite or sometimes top soil which needs to be coarse enough for drainage purpose, too fine of the top soil can be too dense to drain water properly.

You won’t need to replace your T cool infill on a regular basis at all. If you have your artificial grass installed in a situation that it will be easily washed or slipped away, you might need to add some, but you never will need to “replace” it. For most flat installations with regular traffic, you might never need to add more during the whole life time of your turf. Such practice not only apply to T Cool infills, but also to all other type of infills, all to be case by case. The artificial ivy installation can be very easy: depends on what kind of fence you have, the installation method can be a bit different. You will always need to have some kind of anchors on your fence regardless your fence is wooden, vinyl, metal or any other materials. Once you have the anchors on the fence, you will simply use zip ties to secure the ivy onto the anchors. If you can call (877 796 8873) or email us ([email protected]) with more details of your project, we will be able to further assist you on product selections and installations. Well, this is a very good question. We have new artificial grass introduced to the market every year, and the entire industry has been growing at a very fast pace for the last 20 years, several new generations of products have been introduced during such a short time period. Artificial grass is not necessarily cheap, so switching it based on trend might not be a good idea for people with tight budget, especially for those big areas installations. I can see it will be very easy to switch out smaller pieces from time to time, but not for larger sized artificial lawns: You would want to have the artificial grass to last you a long time so you don’t have to worry about paying water bills and maintenances. So you can try to catch the trendy artificial grass only when you are financially able, otherwise, you should pick some most current products and have it for a long time.

Well, to be honest, there is really not much you can do to prevent the ice from forming on the artificial grass during winter time. It is the act of nature, just like any other products such as outdoor furniture, artificial grass itself won’t be able to generate any actions heat to stop the ice. Artificial grass used to be a by-product of carpet before it became its own industry 10 years ago. By that said, a lot of specifications are the same as carpet. The main factors from the artificial grass manufacturer’s standpoint for qualities are the density of the yarns and thickness (translated into faceweight) of the turf. In plain explanations: the heavier of the face weight and thicker of the yarns, the better of the quality of the artificial grass. This is more of in general terms. The reality is that certain products have more advanced technologies associated with it or with special designs, ingredients and manufacturing process which can also be part of product quality matrix determinations. We will be more than happy to provide you with more details regarding your questions and concerns, please feel free to contact us by phone, email or the online form: https://www.globalsynturf.com/free-quote

Technically the answer is yes! This is the law of physics: the thicker (heavier) the material, the more durable. However we offer 15 year limited warranty on all our our products and even lower weight artificial grass offered by us can be just as durable and long lasting. The heavier turf will go well beyond the 15 years mark under normal weather and wear/tear up to 25 years, and lighter materials will be couple of years shy.
