If your original artificial grass installation has been done correctly with proper sub base, the removal will be a very easy process. All you need to do is to start lifting off the old turf from a corner and pull them out. If it becomes heavy while you are pulling off the turf, you can use a utility knife to cut the old turf into pieces so to make it easier to handle. It won’t hurt to leave your sprinklers in when it comes to artificial grass installations, your installer will need to cut the turf to make sure the sprinkler heads are properly sticking out and fully functional. By leaving the sprinklers in place, you can turn them on as you wish if you feel like to wash cleaning your artificial grass. However, reality is that you might never need to do so. If you are living in a normal weathered area, you might never really need sprinklers to help washing your turf, given the fact of normal rains will help “cleaning” the turf for you, we have many customers with turf installed for many years without having sprinklers to clean them. So it is really not a concern one way or another as far as the sprinklers go when it comes to artificial grass installations. I am not sure which 80 you are referring to, but assume that is our SuperNatural-80 turf. By that said, to compare the SBlade-90 and SuperNatural-80, these two artificial grass products are very similar when it comes to the coolness, please feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have any further questions, thank you.

You don’t have to really level your area to install artificial grass. Two key preparations you have to do is to build a good sub base and to make the top section of sub base as smooth as possible. If you have slopes, you don’t have to level it which can be a big project by itself, you can install turf on sloped areas, again, you need to make sure the sub base to be built properly regardless the area is leveled or sloped. Not necessarily. Artificial grass can be heavy but it doesn’t mean it can not be used for wall decorations. They key is how to anchor and install it onto the wall. Depends on what kind of wall you have, the way of installing the turf on the walls can be a bit different: if you have wooden wall or wall with lumber studs, you can simply nailing the turf onto the studs with a 12” nailing schedule. If you have concrete or brick wall, the installation work will be bit more difficult as you will need to use anchors and fasten the turf onto the anchors. These are just general recommendations without knowing the details of your applications such as sizes and etc.. If you would call (877 796 8873) or email ([email protected]) us with details about your project, we will be able to help you out with more specific recommendations, thank you.

It will depend on what type of commercial project you have. The artificial grass installation techniques and materials might be a bit different between landscape and sport applications. Without knowing the specifics, it will be difficult to provide you with valid recommendations on installation materials. If your artificial grass commercial project is a landscape, the installation will be very similar as residential turf, and you can find details of guidelines at this link: https://www.globalsynturf.com/installation-guides. If your commercial project is about sport fields, please contact us by phone (877 796 8873) or email ([email protected]) or fill out this online form to get connected with one of our commercial project experts: https://www.globalsynturf.com/free-quote

Typically turf glue is used for seams of artificial grass at the installation: a tube of turf glue (28 oz) will cover a seam of 9’-12’ length, a gallon of turf glue can cover a 40’ long seam. If you are installing your artificial grass on a hard surface and need to glue it down, you will need about one gallon of glue for every 40-50 square feet. It depends on your artificial grass sport field to be indoor or outdoor:

1. For indoor sport fields, adding infills is not a option, so we will recommend shorter pile turf. In order to achieve the fall rating requirements, you will need to install the lawn pads underneath the grass. Our Trainers Turf will be the recommendation: https://www.globalsynturf.com/products/trainers-turf-63

2. for outdoor sport field, you will need high pile turf as you will need to add infills to provide extra cushioning and to meeting certain fall ratings.
