Can turf melt?

Under normal weather, artificial grass will not melt in the sun. Our artificial grass products can withstand up to 200 degrees F before getting melted. Even though artificial turf can get hot in a warm day, especially in areas with extreme hot weather, people need to be cautious. Some desert areas in a hot day, the temperature can reach to 130 degree F, grass on the ground can reach to close to 200 degrees F. For such areas, we recommend to use TCool infills to help bringing the grass temperature down. You can find the details about TCool product by visiting this link: https://www.globalsynturf.com/tcool
Mario Lapete Thanks Keith! Did you buy your grass here? |
Tim Wisell It would get hot at some point but I don't think it'd reach to the point that it will actually melt |
John Josich Thank God we have a good weather so I don't need to worry about melting artificial turf. |
Keith Walborn Mine doesn't. I've had mine for three years and it's been sitting under the sun since the day it was installed |
Adam Dempsey I read somewhere that it will not melt but the lifespan of the artificial grass will be shorter. |
