At the initial installation, yoi or your installer will bees a power broom to brush up the fibers: the most common practice is to have the turf open under the sun for couple of hours which will allow the fibers to relax and make it easy to stand up, then at the end of installation, use power broom which not only to Stan up the fibers but also to help infills settle into the turf. You can use any of our turf to cover the concrete. My suggestion is to go with your personal preference on color, pile height and density choices, in another word, you can chose whatever turf you like and they will all work well on concrete. Typically, we can categorize infills as two types:

1. Silica sand: either clear sand or coated sand. Coated sands include green color coated or Tcool coated. The moisture retaining and vaporizing characteristics for sands are not much different than any regular sands we use on a daily basis.

2. Zeolite infill: this is a natural mineral which have good moisture retaining capacity and neutralize the dog smells.

Artificial ivy can be installed/hung on any almost any surfaces for both indoors and outdoors, over fences is the most popular application for artificial ivy. Anchors should be used on wooden fences along with zip ties, for iron fences, most of the time, just zip ties will do the job. To install our artificial grass, you won’t need any pine straws: you will need to build a sub base by using road rock and decomposed granite; plus infills on top of the turf. However, if you are planing to use pine straws for areas uncovered by turf (as you mentioned “bank” if I understand you correctly), you might want to consult it with your landscaper or designer as unfortunately we are not experts on that. It is recommended to send us some sketches of the layout of your application to [email protected] marking the turf areas and specify the usage and purpose of the pine straws, so we can understand you better and provide more assistance possible.
