I have been considering artificial turf for quite a long time now.  I have been looking at artificial turf samples, interviewing installers, reviewing warranties, etc.  I learned about Global Syn Turf from a neighbor of mine who had their artificial turf installed.  I have to admit the S Blade 90 grass they installed is amazing and natural.  I called Global Syn Turf and had free synthetic turf sample sent to my home at no charge.  I personally found the SuperNatural 80 turf the most realistic, soft and real looking turf they offer.  I reached out to the local Global Syn Turf distributor here in Kansas to get a free no obligation quote for the installation of the artificial turf.  The installation company gave me so many great design and money saving ideas for my yard.  I truly felt a bond of trust with my sales rep/designer and his ability and input.  I ended up having the artificial turf installed in my yard and no offence to the S Blade 90 of my neighbors, but the SuperNatural 80 is the most amazing turf i have seen of all the companies I have samples from.  Global Syn Turf ends up they are the manufacturer of the artificial turf.  So I received a Manufacture's product warranty.  The warranty if for 15 years and the artificial turf has a 20-25 year life expectancy.  I just love my artificial turf and so does my wife, my kids and my two dogs.  I am giving a 5 start rating to this company for going the extra mile.

I wanted to get artificial turf and I wanted to find something that wasn't hot.  I know artificial turf gets hot because my neighbor has turf and it gets hot in the sun.  I found a company called Global Syn Turf online that has a turf called Cool Blue that has a hollow blade that holds water and in turn making the artificial turf cooler.  They also told me they have a turf infill that makes the turf 30-50 degrees cooler.  The infill is called T-Cool and it absorbs water and evaporates the water over the next 2-3 days making the turf cooler.  I only know this because I have the Cool Blue installed in my yard with the T-Cool infill in my backyard.  The representative at Global Syn Turf recommended the whole set up for me.  They said I did not need Pet Turf for my dogs and that all artificial turf is pet friendly.  I want to thank Global Syn Turf and their distributor in Riverside who did an amazing job installing the turf.

My company has been ordering turf from GST for the last 2 months. Their processing speed is extremely quick and I'm usually able to place will call orders and receive them the day after. Their staff is friendly and always willing to help me on the phone whenever I have issues or requests. The speed is very important to me because I always want to get the installation going asap, rather than waiting a week for shipping.

I just had artificial turf installed by the local Global Syn Turf distributor.  I have two dogs and ordered the Pet Turf.  Their Pet Turf is shorter and has three times as many holes in the backing for great drainage.  The drainage rate of this turf is one of the best I have found when shopping for turf for my yard.  This Pet Turf is 1.25" tall which makes ti easy for the dogs to run and most importantly easy to pick up after them.  The stitch gauge is .375" wide which gives this turf a very tight weave which I found works better for the dogs vs. a turf with very loose and wide spread blades.  The Pet Turf has a 77 oz. per sq. yd. weight which makes this a very sturdy hefty turf.  The color is a beautiful Emerald Green and Olive Green.  The blades are evenly dispersed throughout which makes it look real and natural.  I also found this turf is to be very slip resistant especially when it is wet.  When my turf is wet and the dogs are running they never slide around and seem to grip the the turf very well.  This turf has a curly thatch blade as well which is green and brown.  The brown turf really makes the artificial turf look natural.  The turf is lead and heavy metal free and lastly it is non flammable.  Yes it has a melting point but it will not catch fire which give me a comfort level.  Lastly, I spoke with a representative at Global Syn Turf and their distributor about cleaning and disinfecting.  Both parties were consistent in their message about cleaning.  They said you need to rinse the synthetic turf often to flush the dog urine through the turf to the natural soils.  You also have to use a disinfect to disinfect the artificial turf on occasion.  I asked how often do you need to do this and they told me if I ever smell urine in my backyard.  That might mean every week or every two months.  It depends on the size of your yard, the size of the dog as to how often you may need to disinfect.  They said to spray a good disinfectant on the artificial turf and don't dilute the liquid, let is sit on the turf for 2-3 hours and then rinse it very well.  If you stay on top of this it should last you a life time.  Well I am giving Global Syn Turf 5 Stars for this fabulous looking artificial turf.

Nothing beats the S blade series. I've looked at samples for all of them. The build just isn't the same

I own a chain of hardware stores in 10 different states.  I was looking for a new profit center for my hardware stores and thought I would look into artificial grass since it seemed to be a hot ticket item.  I found Global Syn Turf's website globalsynturf.com and found they had many different locations.  Once I spoke with the corporate office I found out they have 10 warehouses nationwide with inventory of artificial turf, artificial ivy and installation accessories.  If I decided to become a dealer  it would be beneficial having the materials shipped to me and my customers from the closest location.  This would save in shipping cost and in the amount of time it took to get to me and my customers.  The other benefit is the customer are welcome to will call the materials if the distribution center is close to them.  Many of my hardware stores are in major metropolitan areas where Global Syn Turf has distribution centers.  Most of my clients end up choosing the Will Call option to save money in shipping cost.  Global Syn Turf provided my a display and free samples for all my stores.  There customer service, operations, sales and claims department are very responsive and are a well run company.  I want to thanks Global Syn Turf and their dedicated staff on helping me grow my business.

Nowadays there are so many turf suppliers to choose from, but I say with confidence that GST is at least top 3. They just have so many turfs to choose from. That alone is already hard to beat since you would need a lot of inventory space to keep all that in stock at all times. I noticed that a lot of the smaller suppliers have a hard time keeping up in stock, which is understandable. However, if you're looking for a big reliable supplier, I don't think you'll ever have issues with GST.

I have been looking for a licensed, bond and certified installer for artificial turf.  I have had bad experiences in the past with contractors and I learned my lesson.    I found Global Syn Turf online and they called and spoke with a representative on the phone.  The nice associate named Karla referred me to their website under About and then Find an Installer.  This section asks you a lot of pertinent information like the following:  Project Type, Size of the Area for Install, Are you authorized to make changes to the property, First Name, Company, Best time to contact you, Questions, Which ares do you plan to turf, when do you need the installation, do you need financing, last name, etc.  They computer takes all this information and refers you an certified licensed and bonded installer.  Global Syn Turf has dealers all over the country that are certified to install artificial that are licensed and bonded.  They are certified in that they know how to install the Global Syn Turf products.  I had Global Syn Turf send me about 15 different samples to choose from.  I reached out to my local installer who had all their paperwork in line.  They installed my beautiful artificial turf yard last week and I couldn't be happier.  I want to thank Karla and Global Syn Turf.

Choosing the right artificial turf is not easy.  With a 15 year warranty and a 25-30 year life expectancy you want to make sure you choose the right artificial turf because you are going to have it for a very long time.  The shape of the artificial turf blades is so important.  I received samples from Global Syn Turf and they have C Shape Blades, Diamond Shape Blades, Double S Blade, Double W Blade, Hollow Blade, M Shape Blade, S Blade, Seven Step Blade, Stem Blade, W Shape Blade, V Shape Blade, U Shape Blade, etc.  There is so much to choose from.  Besides that you have so many different color configurations like Olive, Field, Apple, Lime, Dark Emerald, Emerald Green, Bi Color Green, etc.  Now you have to choose from pile height, face weight, total weight, stitch gauge, etc.  Then there is the thatch, you have no thatch, green thatch, brown thatch and you even have brown and green thatched.  Here is what I recommend, get as many samples as you can lay them out in your backyard and let them sit there for a week or two.  Start with the process of elimination, every day remove the ones you don't like.  Once you narrow it down, step on them, kneel down and feel them.  Lastly, take the renaming swatches and go lay them next to real grass to see which ones look the most realistic and don't have a shine or sheen.  Thanks Global Syn Turf for walking me through this process.

I want to thank Global Syn Turf for being so helpful through my artificial turf search process.  I didn't just want to work with any artificial turf company and I didn't want to work with just any artificial turf installer.  I got lucky and found one of the largest and most innovative artificial turf companies in the country named Global Syn Turf.  The lady Tammy on the phone was so helpful and generous.  She sent me free samples and went through all the turf sample recommending what might be best for my yard.  After I chose a turf and underlayment she referred me to a distributor in Dallas Texas.  Tim came to my house to give me a free estimate to install artificial turf in my front, side and backyards.  I was very concerned it was going to be way to much money when I was surprised as to how affordable it was.  Tim and his crew did an amazing job tearing out my old grass, bringing in crushed rock aggregate and installing the artificial turf.  My new yard looks so nice right now I just want to go outside and sit in in.  I want to thank Tammy and Tim for all their help in making this a reality.

I specialize in pet facilities and play areas. GST has some of the best pet turf I've come across and the permeability is unbeatable. I also recently learned all their grasses have permeable backings and that the pet turf just has extra. This is a game changer because now I can introduce a lot more variety to my customers since they all have similar drainage systems. 

I have a rental property in Seattle I wanted to put artificial turf into.  One of my neighbors has artificial turf and his turf is Nylon.  It is very rough, course and dark and I don't think it looks natural at all.  I did my home work online and found a great article on Global Syn Turf.com  It talks about Nylon vs. Polypropylene synthetic turf fibers.  It says the first synthetic turf fibers were actually made from nylon, such as in the astrodome.  Nylon is very tough and very expensive material in production and is highly resilient to foot traffic.  However most artificial turf today is made with Polypropylene thermoplastic blended with Polyethylene thatching.  They said an invention of polypropylene is the reason synthetic turf is available for yards today.  Polypropylene is a non corrosive, rugged and resistant to most solvents, bases and acid polymers.  I spoke with someone on the phone who further educated me that colorants and additives can be introduced during the extrusion process to create distinct colors and properties such a stabilization against ultraviolet light degradation.  The artificial turf will no fade over time which makes it great for outdoor landscape use.  This product can be used in extreme temperature like heat and cold.  The artificial turf only looses 10% of its strength over time.  I ended up ordering samples from Global Syn Turf and could not believe how realistic the artificial turf looks.  I ended up buying 1,000 sq. ft. from the Global Syn Turf dealer here in Seattle and installed it myself.  It looks great and much better than my neighbors nylon artificial turf yard.

A good friend of mine recommended the S blade 90 from GST so I decided to go with it. I didn't know it was flexible enough to even fill the small gaps!

Global Syn Turf referred me a local turf distributor in my area.  Tim came over to my house to give me an estimate to install artificial turf in my backyard and my side yard.  He was on time and very easy to deal with and talk to.  No high pressure sales tactics or maneuvers just very straight forward.  The whole crew that came to install my turf was very good and knowledgeable.  I would recommend this team and company anytime.  I watched them work for 5 days straight and I knew they were passionate about their work.  I realized how hard the work is and how much material they have to move.  The removed 1,850 sq. ft. of grass and dirt, 4" deep one wheel barrow at a time to the front yard into a dump trailer.  They brought in 1,850 sq. ft., 4" deep of crushed rock aggregate one wheel barrow at a time to the backyard.  They graded it out to drain towards the drains, wetted it down and compacted it with a vibrating plate.  They 5 guys carried a 15' x 100' roll of turf that weighted 900 pounds to the backyard, rolled it out and started to cut the turf into place.  These guys work so hard and were so detailed in their work.  The team finally wrapped up the job, put all their equipment away and cleaned up very very well.  They left my house in the exact same condition they left it in.  Tim and his crew was amazing and I give them 5 stars on this website because they deserve it.  I would recommend them to anyone.  

GST's selection of turfs is a any distributors dream. They truly are specialized in what they offer and I would get samples to see what works for you personally. I recommend the Riviera Monterey and S blade series. My inventory gets sold out almost instantly and I find myself returning for more on a weekly basis. I've recently also been testing out ivy to see how well it sells and the volume for those is decent as well.

I spend a lot of time barbecuing so I wanted to make the area look better. I didn't want the entire area to be grass but I put subtle amounts just for decoration.

GST has some of the best patio turf on the market hands down. I've gotten so many requests for rooftop or patio projects that I find myself constantly ordering more. Thankfully GST never runs out of stock and I can rely on them to be there for whenever I need more turf. Although patio areas are my specialty, I've heard a lot of great things about their lawn turfs as well. It's hard to go wrong with a big company with a solid product. A bunch of my neighbors have been telling me to get the GST S blade saying it was the best on the market. I finally gave in and got my lawn remodeled. I'm glad I made the switch to be honest...

Nowadays, the turf quality from different suppliers is relatively similar. However, I prefer GST because their team is the most experienced and our transactions always go smoothly. Their service representatives are some of the best in the industry that I've met and I never have any questions that are left unanswered. For me, it's important that my turf supplier cares about their customers, which is why I give a big vouch for GST!

I have an apartment in downtown Houston, TX and I wanted to put artificial turf on my rooftop/balcony.  I really wanted to make sure I got the right artificial turf, the right installer and the right system made for artificial turf.  I found a website online called www.globalsynturf.com.  They seemed to have a good amount of information on the topic so I called them.  I spoke with Darren who had been in the artificial turf business for along time both on the installation side and the manufacturing side.  He educated me on the rooftop application  and what I needed to think about.  The number one thing we talked about is drainage, drainage and more drainage.  He asked me where the rain goes now when it drained.  I told him it drained off to the side of the rooftop to drains.  First me mentioned I should put down a .5" drain tile system that leaves a void between the backing of the turf and the balcony surface.  This allows the water to flow freely to the drains.  He also told me I should spot glue the turf to the drainage tile but not enough to block the drainage in the backing of the turf.  He mentioned the sand infill in the artificial turf was optional.  He recommend I not go with an infill and choose a turf that was thick and stood up on its own without infill.  He mentioned the Trainers turf based on its height and thickness of the turf.  He also referred me to their distributor here in Houston that does great install work.  Now the job is installed I love my new rooftop turf, it looks amazing.
