We have three Labrador retrievers in our yard and I have not grass left.  It is all dirt and when it is raining it is all mud.  Mud means they track the mud in the house.  I have heard artificial turf is good for dogs.  I contacted Global Syn Turf online and spoke with one of the representatives and they really educated me on artificial turf for dogs.  Their Pet Turf synthetic grass has the fastest drainage in the industry with three times the amount of drainage holes for the dog urine and water to drain.  The Pet Turf artificial grass is shorter which makes it easier to maintain.  They also sell a pet deodorizer to help with the urine smell.  They told me to leave the sprinklers to rinse the turf on a regular basis.  They referred me to their artificial turf distributor in Columbus who could sell the turf and installation to me.  It has been three weeks now that I have artificial turf installed in my yard.  The dog does not track dirt into my house any more and they don't need baths all the time.  I want to thank Global Syn Turf for helping me with this project.

I got the fake pet grass for my 3 dogs and it's saved me a lot of headache. I usually leave them outside when I go out and sometimes they dig the grass and get all dirty. Now that they can't do it anymore I don't have to clean them as often. What a lifesaver LOL Would recommend if you have pets, but make sure to pick a recommended installer. I picked a random installer the first time and they had to redo it, so make sure to do your research first.
