My flower patch is in the middle of my lawn, can I still make a base around the patch or does the whole thing need to be replaced with a proper base?

You will only need to prepare the sub base for artificial grass only by leaving your flower patch the way it is. If not finished with any edging materials around the flower patch, you might need to do so by using either bender board or wonderedge to finish off the perimeters so the artificial turf can connect to the edges perfectly. Please call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at [email protected] if you have any further questions or would like to send us with your application size/pictures so we can further assist you, thank you.

We are not experts on real grass, however, in my personal opinion, to grow and maintain real grass putting greens at a regular residential house can be difficult or impossible. That is why artificial putting greens make the world of sense and deliver almost the same functionality and performance. How do I stripe my artificial grass?
Nov 6, 2020 5:15 AM |
The general rule is to have your pavers or concrete done first, leaving striping areas for your artificial grass open to be done afterward. Once your pavers or concrete works have been completed, you are ready to prepare and install the artificial grass stripes. To better explain the details, please watch this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/BeDPAXkYXlU.

It won’t hurt to leave your sprinklers in when it comes to artificial grass installations, your installer will need to cut the turf to make sure the sprinkler heads are properly sticking out and fully functional. By leaving the sprinklers in place, you can turn them on as you wish if you feel like to wash cleaning your artificial grass. However, reality is that you might never need to do so. If you are living in a normal weathered area, you might never really need sprinklers to help washing your turf, given the fact of normal rains will help “cleaning” the turf for you, we have many customers with turf installed for many years without having sprinklers to clean them. So it is really not a concern one way or another as far as the sprinklers go when it comes to artificial grass installations. No, moss won’t grow on artificial grass. Turf is made of polyethylene and polypropylene which is plastic, such product won’t provide the inhabitants for moss to grow. You will need to make sure to keep your artificial turf clean of dirts or debris of which moss might find home for. We have never had any complains about moss issues on artificial grass, nor have we experienced any such problems.
