Looking for your recommendation's best way. My plan at this time is 2 or 3 underground drip watering loups below the canopy. Do you recommend this type of system and if so, where should it be located in the base layers? Thank you.

The understand dripping system is a great idea: you can have the pipe buried under the turf base with water pointing up into the base rack: water will travel upwards then spread down to minimize chances of “channels” being created to harm the integrity of ground/base support of turf. Please feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have any further questions, thank you.
In early 2022, we had the Superscape Max turf installed in our back yard. We notice a small section around the edge of the grass keeps "pooling" a small pile of sand (we think it's coming up from underneath the turf), and the turf looks to be "sinking" a little in the area (the area is about 4 inches by 4 inches). Do you know what is causing this? And, do you have suggestions for what we should do to fix this?

From what you are describing, I suspect the “shrinking” is due to some excessive heat which can be window or other object reflections or nearby heat sources like fence or pavements or objects being placed on the turf. Turf is like carpet which can be cut and patched, if you only have a 4”x4” area to be fixed and you still have any leftover turf from your original installation, you can cut the bad section out and patched with a new piece. To better assist you, we would like to see some pictures of your problem, you can email us at [email protected], thank you.

It is possible that infill sands to be either blown or washed away from time to time. Therefore we recommend to add more infills when it become low, there is no specific frequency requirements, it will be all depending on each individual case. Absolutely, people put furnitures on artificial grass surface all the time. Couple of reminders: once the turf being pressed down, there might be marks left which is just like you place furnitures on the carpet. Also, if you live in a very hot area, you will need to be careful NOT to have metal touching the grass as the metal can melt your turf. It will be very hard to tell without knowing the details. Critical numbers such as average daily hours of traffic, weather conditions, sunshine time, type of traffic are needed to make analysis and determinations of how long the artificial grass will last: if the turf is designed to last 20 years with an average of daily 2 hours traffics, theoretically it will last much less if twice traffic is given on the daily basis. So it will be helpful if you can let us know some detail data about the usage, weather conditions and traffic so we can provide more accurate feedback and make proper artificial grass recommendations. You can literally play on the artificial greens immediately after the rain or even in the rain, that is one of the main advantages of having the artificial putting greens, it is always ready for play. Best way to wash off paint from turf? Accidentally spilled red paint on it

I hope the paint on your artificial grass grass surface is water based, if so, you can try to use power washer to rinse the paint off. It is always recommend that you try to remove the paint as soon as it gets onto the turf, while it is still wet, water cleaning it should be much easier. You will need to be careful using chemicals on the turf trying to remove oil based paint as certain paint removers might be abrasive which can damage the turf fibers, read the instructions carefully or contact the paint remover company to make sure it won’t hurt the turf before using it. Please feel free to call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at [email protected] if you have any further questions, thank you.

As far as the leaves on the artificial grass, it is the same as leaves on the real grass lawn. So most of the time, you will need either rake or blow the leaves off the artificial grass surface, unfortunately the wind won’t do the job. Please let us know if you have any other questions by posting here or call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at [email protected], thank you.

Yes, technically artificial turf can be reused for the similar applications as your original installation. It would be obvious that the sizes have also to big enough to cover the new area, sometimes you might have to add additional infills once you reinstall the turf. Depends on your usage of the artificial grass, there is no set recommendations on how often you should wash clean your turf surface. So the best approach will be only to wash cleaning the turf when needed. Please feel free to call (877 796 8873) or email us ([email protected]) if you have any other questions, thank you.
